What 1% buys on Claude and Codex

Our own agent logs from 27 September to 30 October 2026, priced at API rates: Claude Ultra (formerly Max 20x) bought 1.7 times more per percent than Max 5x, Codex held 10 dollars per percent on Pro 100 and Pro 200 alike; whether more dollars buy more finished work is still an open question.
